Question : What could be causing leg pain worsened by walking or standing? My legs are also extremely tender to the touch and are swollen. I have reduced blood flow to both legs. Two months ago I had a balloon angioplasty on one leg, but pain continues. I have nerve damage in both legs from spinal stenosis. Do I need to see a neurologist or go back to my vascular surgeon?
Brief Answer:
You should take opinion from Nerosurgeon and Vascular surgeon.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thankyou for asking here.
Dear this worsen pain could be either due to spinal or vascular problem. It could also be a complication of previous operation. But to rule out causative factor I would advice you to take opinion from both vascular surgeon and Neurosurgeon.I would also like to advice for taking second opinion from Ortho doctor.Since you have already history of osteoarthiritis and spinal stenosis so collaborated opinion of both Neurosurgeon and Ortho Doctor might definitly help.
Hopefully my answer will be helpful and please let me know if I need to clarify you more.
Best Regards,
