Question: I have a small bump on my soft palate. First noticed It 2 weeks ago. It has got a tiny bit bigger today. Around 1mm-2mm in diameter. I am 39 years old, non smoker, no other health concerns.
Brief Answer:
May be mucocele
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I see the pictures you attached and it seems like mucocele or mucus sack . Inflammation is also present since it is red around.
They are common bumps in mouth.
It is getting smaller by itself so it doesn't require any treatment.
Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks.

Thanks. The red area around the bump has reduced however the bump has got a tiny bit bigger. Is this OK?
Brief Answer:
It can go on its own
Detailed Answer:
Usually they go away on their own so you may need to wait two more weeks.
If it is getting bigger and doesn't seem to go away it may require surgery.
