Question : Hi I just started experiencing pain in my urethral opening. I think it’s balanitis. The tip seems red and it’s painful to urinate. I took a warm shower and applied Vaseline to it. Will this help at all knowing that I have to go to work in a couple of hours? I’m a package handler for FedEx
Brief Answer:
Could be balanitis
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for using the Ask a Doctor service.
Going by the description it could indeed be balanitis and is more likely to require treatment with appropriate antibiotics. You can upload an image but a clinical examination is needed and I would urge you to visit a doctor for the same. This is also needed as you would need him to write down the antibiotics for you.
Regards
