Question : Hey there! I noticed a small bump on my lip in February 2019, was told that it was mucous cell and should go away in a few weeks. It is still on lip and has only gotten bigger, is there any over the counter treatments I could do for this or should I go to a clinic? It is hard to see my family doctor as they are 8 hours away.

                                    Brief Answer:
It is a Mucus cyst
Detailed Answer:
Hi
As per your description,it is a Mucus cyst.
I am sorry to say that there are no medicines for this condition.
Sometimes,it resolves spontaneously.
If the swelling is not reducing in size,it should be removed surgically.
It is a simple Day Care surgical procedure done under local Anaesthesia.
Nothing to worry.
Please consult a Surgeon and proceed further.
Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions,I will clarify further.
Wish you good health and speedy recovery
Regards
