Question : I am suffering from whole body numbness, tingling and needle, burning sensation, chronic fatigue, reduced sensation of touch and sometimes electric shock in my arms. I went to neurologist and done MRI nerve conduction test and nerve conductionstudy. However, results were normal and my suffering is just increasing day by day. What could be the root cause for my condition

Brief Answer:
Can be due to electrolyte disturbances.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The sensation of tingling and numbness, fatigue, shock like sensations with a normal nerve conduction study can happen due to low levels of vitamin B12 in the body or due to electrolyte imbalances. Decreased fluid intake or a low level of sodium or magnesium can cause such symptoms. You need to get your serum levels evaluated and start with suitable supplements. Taking plenty of electrolyte rich fluids with vitamin B12 supplements will help in improvement.
I hope this answers your query.
