Question : Hi, My wife has intermittent pain while walking, when examined it was found that skin between last two finger's of left leg turned dark grey. I am not sure if it's skin allergy or infection. Images attached. Kindly advise. Regards, XXXX

Watch for the swellings in the inguinal region and behind keen and let me know please.
Was there a clean black mole like this to begin with in past?
Is she diabetic or any medical problems?
Does she require work in wet areas wherein foot is in contact with water?

Hi, please find attached fresh photos.This is persistent since a month now.No swelling observed.No mole observed since this has been observed when pain started.No diabetes. There was also no continous contact with water. Regards, Syed

This looks to be a fungal infection but needs Melanoma to be ruled out as soon as possible.
May need excision biopsy and further evaluation for confirmatory diagnosis so that a proper management can be done.
