My hemoglobin in creased from 10.1 to 10.2. Yet this morning I experienced a hot flash and felt faint. Brief Answer:
Kindly do medical work up before leaving.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I can understand your concern. Now, As your haemoglobin is 10.2, so I don't think that anaemia may the cause of fainting. Other common causes of fainting at this age are hypovolemia, hypoglycemia, hypotension, vertigo. Let me know please whether do you have history of sweating, shakiness, tinnitus just before fainting? Kindly follow up with detailed history. I'd suggest you to check blood sugar level, blood pressure monitoring with your doctor.

As you are complaining of palpitations, dizziness, so I'd suggest you to consult with your cardiologist and get complete cardiac work up before leaving for your trip. Follow up if you have any query. Take care.
