Brief Answer:
Missed period likely due to PCOS

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

The missed/delayed period is likely due to PCOS and not worrisome. Anyways to rule out pregnancy, she can get a urine or blood pregnancy test. Urine pregnancy test kits are easily available in pharmacies. Blood pregnancy test can be done from any laboratory.

If it is due to PCOS, then she may already be knowing the medicine. The usual prescribed medicine is Regestrone and needs to be taken under guidance of gynecologist.

She may want to do regular exercise and other activities like dance, meditation etc. that can help balance the hormones.
