Question: I started having a headache two days ago and when I swallow hard a pain on the left side above my temple hurts and then subsides. I'm currently in psychotherapy for depression, anxiety and stress. I also started taking 10 supplements 3 days ago and gave up caffeine cold turkey three days ago

Brief Answer:
Get evaluated by a neurologist and take treatment as advised

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Unilateral headache at this age with temple region pain may be due to giant cell arteritis, migraine and less likely tension type headache.
Pain killers for short duration may help.
Amitriptyline or sertraline will be helpful too.
Medications for depression needs to be continued.
Presence of fever, vomiting, loss of consciousness or seizures requires urgent evaluation by a doctor.
Get examined by a neurologist.
Get ESR blood levels done.
