Brief Answer:
Purpura: needs further evaluation as discussed below

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I was wondering whether this appears only on left arm or anywhere else in the body.

This is called purpura and the causes can be as follows:
Low platelet count, needs to find the count and the causes if low.
Some medications like Aspirin or anti-platelet medications.
loss of integrity - loosening of the subcutaneous supporting tissues so that the small blood vessels rupture easily to cause the blood clots as seen in the pictures.
Increased capillary fragility.
Idiopathic that is where the cause may not be known in spite of all clinical evaluation and investigations.

I would advise the following in such a situation:
Consult your Doctor for clinical evaluation, General examination, investigations and referral to a Specialist.

I hope this answer helps you.
Please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
Please give feedback.

Take care.
All the best.
With Regards.
