Question : What could cause ankle edema, kidney or bladder pain and joint swelling.
Brief Answer:
uric acid
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
These may be due to raised uric acid.
Raised uric acid have joint pain and kidney stone.
Or these may not be related as some patients have 2 or 3 diseases at a time .
As you are 51 years old , i will recommend complete work up as blood tests as Hb , TLC, DLC ,ESR , blood sugar level ,Serum uric acid RA factor .
As there is ankle edema i will suggest to undergo BP checkup , ECG and chest xray pa view .
If you already have such tests provide me tests .
Then i will guide you further .
Waiting for your reply .
