What Could Cause Anxiety Attacks Followed By GERD Leading To Diarrhea Post That?

Main health related points - Inguinal Hernia (continuing with belt), mild gastritis, depression, anxiety disorder, glaucoma, prostatomegaly.
Query - Since last many years, it has been observed that there is lack of concentration/ focus and remembering capacity. Say for example, we family are sitting in a room and someone asks from him something, we needs to repeat asking 2 to 3 times for his attention. Similarly, another example, say we go to visit some place few times and on next visit, need to tell same things again about that place. He looks to be under consistent stress due to many of family reasons, and very easily comes under acute stress - "now what to do" type. Say for example, while travelling in AC train/ car, he feels like what will happen now - how will he breathe in closed vehicle now - and it keeps the anxiety attack triggered and GERD accompanies afterwards - it has been noticed on numerous occasions - even on the day of travelling, inside house (not in vehicle) it occurred many times. There is consistent fear about any thing - like how this medicine is going to affect me - what will happen now (any new situation) etc etc. Eating anything little hard to digest (like dry fruit say 10 pieces cashew/ almond etc) often triggers diarrhea too.
Point to be noted is that he never shares what is the stress level or what is he thinking consistently but we notice it by those behaviors.
Want to know, what may be the underlying reason for this type of behavior and how to treat it in order to normalize it. Is anything related to hearing loss or lack of concentration exist or any underlying excessive stress exists and how can it be treated.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
* There are multiple parameters responsible for the issue as
- age related cerebral changes
- deficiency of certain micro nutrients
- decline in certain hormones and proteins
- blood flow related issues
- others
* My guidelines for the particular case management
- Needs definite therapy of stress control with meditations, deep breathing
exercises, YOGA.
- Balanced nutritious diet keeping in concern digestive set up.
- Control of blood sugar, cholesterol, body weight.
- Evaluation of basic parameters with his family doctor regularly.
I would like to have further details for the case to complete the query
1. Does he smoke or consume alcohol ?
2. Details of sleep pattern.
3. Activity level of the day.
4. Systemic illness as diabetes or others and consuming any medications at
present or not.
Awaiting for your response.
Thanks.

Thank you for suggestion.
The desired input is as below:
1. Does he smoke or consume alcohol ? - No
2. Details of sleep pattern. - Very random and unexplained - after dinner immediately there is sleep attack and it is very tough for him to remain awake - once slept in night, wakes up in night to urinate (expained as due to prostatomegaly) or just sitting and again sleeping - early morning (3 - 6 am) often found to be sitting or walking and then sleeping again - during travel in car or so, most of the times sleep is overriding
3. Activity level of the day. - most of the times at home (retired from service) - morning or evening sometimes goes to buy some grocery items or walking - no any aggressive physical activity
4. Systemic illness as diabetes or others and consuming any medications at
present or not. - no Diabetes, no Hypertension; Inguinal Hernia (continuing with belt and no medics/ surgery), mild gastritis - takes pantoprazole as and when required, depression - not treated, anxiety disorder - not treated, glaucoma - using eye drop, prostatomegaly - taking biochemic/ homeopathic medics. Other than that, nothing discovered yet (for behavioral changes) and therefore I have asked this query - as what is suspected and how to diagnose and confirm it and treatment can be started accordingly.
Kindly review and suggest and which specialist to consult.
Addition for point - 2. Details of sleep pattern - Sometimes it has been reported that nightmares have been seen - however we don't know how frequent it is actually seen and how many are reported/ unreported.
consult an expert neurophysician for best evaluation.
