What Could Cause Episodes Of Redness And Tingling Sensation On The Feet?

Vitamin B 12 supplemenst can help.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
The symptoms that you are having are likely to be due to a mild nerve root compression at the level of lumbar spine or due to low levels of vitamin B12. You also need to rule out diabetes as such neural symptoms are common with diabetes. You can get your serum Vitamin B12 levels and blood sugar levels evaluated and start with proper supplements accordingly. Aggravation of symptoms with alcohol consumption further suggests a Vitamin B12 related neuropathy.
I hope this answers your query. In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out. Wishing you good health.

I would like to try the B12 supplement. What daily intake do your recommend?
Is a timed release tablet a good idea?
How long until I might expect to see results?
I do have stenosis and scoliosis of my spine. 2 neurosurgeons have concluded I am not a good candidate for surgery due to risks involved. I have daily yoga poses I use, medical massage every 3 weeks, and work out with a trainer to strengthen my core. I am an active person and get daily exercise.
I'll await your reply. XXXXXXX

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
For vitamin B12 supplement, you can have 1500 mg of daily dose at night. A timed release tablet does not have any such extra advantage.
You will see an improvement in two weeks in case the symptoms are related to Vitamin B12 deficiency. It is good that you are doing a daily exercise but the stenosis can also be the root cause of this problem.
Hope my answer is helpful.
