What Could Cause Extreme Fatigue, Low Stamina, Leg Pain, Thinning Hair And Cramps?

Question: In the past 2 weeks I’ve noticed a fast decline in my stamina and health, I’m fatigued and struggle to get through work and or gym, my mother and partner have noticed a swelling in my ankles and legs if I walk on them a lot, and they are in the past two days aching pretty much constantly. My hair is becoming really thin at the front and people have said that my skin looks blotchy.
I feel worse every day it seems.
After just getting through a long shift at work (I was so exhausted I was almost crying by the end of the shift but my partner and I are struggling so I powered through) some mornings I’ll wake up feeling ok but by early afternoon I need to nap I’ve had smelly urine and lower cramps too any ideas as to what this could be I’m really concerned and confused with all of this I’ve gone from working and going to gym 5 days a week no issues to barely being able to get up at this piont

Brief Answer:
May be low thyroid. Let's get T4 and TSh levels!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
This may represent a low functioning thyroid gland. I recommend that we get a T4 and TSh level measured to see how well the thyroid gland is functioning. When it is hypofunctioning, we have symptoms of weight gain, thinning and falling off hair, constipation, fatigue, dry skin, etc. These are similar to yours and such an exam would help.
I wish you well. Keep me updated as soon as you get the results back for more insights.

Hi Dr.Ivo
So I received my test results today thyroid was normal but my blood sugars were raised and my liver Enzymes were raised slightly and I Had An infection and I’m now on antibiotics, I’m having An OGTT test done regarding the blood sugars could the hair thinning and swollen legs be due to diabetes? I’m very nervous about this.

Brief Answer:
Do HBA1C rather!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks so much for this update.
Diabetes can cause these and fatigue as well. I am not sure why your doctor wants to do OGTT. I will add that I want A1C and a repeat of that same test which came back abnormal. What was the glucose value?
Keep me posted about this!
