Question : wondering what could cause lesions on the thighs n the gentials n now spreading to the different parts of the body ?

Looks like fungal infection or tinea.

Hello,
I have gone through the pictures.
As you found out it looks like fungal infection probably tinea.
Antifungal creams like clotrimazole may be started after consultations a physician.
You have to keep the area dry and personal hygiene is also very important.
