Question : I had this mucus in stool occasionally
Brief Answer:
Possible gastrointestinal infection
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
These symptoms are possibly suggestive of infection. It is important to consider a short course of antibiotics to control the infection. Additionally, it's important to consider an ultrasound of the abdomen if symptoms don't improve with antibiotic therapy.
Please check with your physician if he shares my view and if can prescribe these medications and tests for further evaluation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Thank you.
