Question : My breasts look to have gotten a little bit bigger, nipples have been slightly tender, and I've been feeling sick every morning. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. I drink plenty of water, I exercise, and eat right. My period is not due for another 2 weeks. What could it be? Is it possible that I'm pregnant and the hCG isn't strong enough yet?

                                    Brief Answer:
Ovulation symptoms
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Since you state that your period in not due for another 2 weeks, it means that you are most probably ovulating right now.
Ovulation occurs around the middle of your menstrual cycle. Besides, breast and nipple tenderness, as well as nausea can also be symptoms of ovulation in some women. It only lasts for a few days and may also be accompanied by mild lower stomach pain.
It is highly unlikely that you are pregnant. If you don't get your period a few days after it is due, then I recommend you repeat the pregnancy test.
I hope this answers your question. If you have further questions I would be happy to help.
Take care
Regards

Okay. Well on that note. My husband and I want to have a baby but due to me being in the military, we currently can't see each other too much. There's an opportunity for him to come see me soon. How could we heighten our chances of being successful?

Now is the right time
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Ovulation time is the best time to try to get pregnant. Although, theoretically, you can get pregnant at any time during the cycle, the highest probability is around the time when the egg is released from your ovary. So, I'd recommend you increase the frequency of intercourse during the middle of your cycle. You may also use a home ovulation test for the most accuracy.
Although you may not get pregnant right away or even in the next cycles, do not get discouraged.
On an average, a couple may try for a pregnancy for up to a year before it happens, and this is normal. However, if after a year of regular intercourse a pregnancy does not happen, then it is time to see a specialist for further evaluation.
Feel free to ask any further questions. Wishing you good health and all the best.
Regards
