Question : i had throat infection couple of weeks ago, i notice slight pain or something while eating or drinking(not everyday but yes quite often). if i swallow while looking extreme right i feel it more. i feel this in left side of throat and today its more like harshness with little pain while drinking or swallowing. it seemed okay last week but gain now n then i feel it. is it that infection is still there and shall i take a course of antibiotics. ps - ive not been so gentle on my throat since infection. please suggest how should i go about it.

Hi,

From your complaints, you are probably suffering from acute tonsillitis. All the symptoms mentioned by you are suggestive of this. It would need a proper course of antibiotics and some other medicines.

It would be better if you can send me the picture of your throat so that I can suggest you better and prescribe you accordingly.

Use Hexidine gargles and take tablet vitamin-C once daily.
