What Could Have Contributed To The Elevated WBC?

Question: Hi I am enquiring on behalf of my partner. He had bloods done in 2016 and WBC was slightly elevated. He had them done again in 2019 and were still slightly elevated though no dramatic increase. Now, in 2022, he has had them done again and WBC were again elevated (10.3). He had them repeated recently and WBC was 13,000. I am wondering what the likelihood of it being CML (or other leukaemia) is? He got a new tattoo a couple of days before the most recent blood test. Could this have contributed to the elevated WBC? Is WBC likely to be higher for something serious like CML? All other bloods are normal. Thank you.
Brief Answer:
Exams
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking
WBC can be elevated in some infection or inflammatory cases.
Also WBC can be raised in excessive physical or emotional stress.
In my opinion since other exams are normal, you have nothing to worry about it.
Best regards
