Carotid artery Narrowing does not kill a person so faster, but its complications due to risk factors will lead to coronary artery disease or stroke if Blood Pressure is not under control.

Regular followup and appropriate investigation and medical intervention can prolong life of 5 to 10 ears.

It was not 70per cent narrowing of carotid Artery it was 70per cent narrowing of mid lad descending artery

Sorry for making query complicated.

I would suggest that latest modality of treatment which includes TransMyocardial Laser Revascularization (TMLR) is one of the approaches in treating CHD .
If revascularization is done prognosis is good but this has to be done at earliest to have 5years long life with medications and followup.
