What Diet Should Be Followed When Suffering From Polycystic Ovaries?

I have polycystic ovaries and I need to lose weight. The gynocologist hasn't prescribed me any pills. She advised weight loss alone. Currently I weigh 70kgs and my height is 156cm. 15kgs is what I'm planning to shed. I can work out for like 1 hour a day. However I've got no clue as to what kind of diet I should follow. Should I completely say no to non-veg? How bout carbs? Should I stop eating rice? Rice is the staple food in my part of the world but I've read that pcos comes with insulin resistance as well, so will carbs give me trouble? It would be great if you could prescribe me a diet plan. That is what my gynocologist and dermatologist( I've got severe hairloss too) asked me to go for.
Please note that I am from XXXXXXX and I clock 10 hours straight on an average working day.
