Question : hi i m 23 yr old female..my tsh level is 8.12 nd anti tpo level is more than 1300.doctor advised me 25mcg thyronorm..i hav put on a lot of weight .my weight now is 85 kg

Hi,

High anti-TPO usually indicates a autoimmune thyroiditis. You have to continue the thyroid supplements and check for TSH levels. Once the TSH comes to a normal range you can continue taking the same dose, or else the dose has to be altered accordingly.

Regular exercise and a healthy diet and the medications will help reduce weight.
