Question : What do I need to know before, during and after surgery. (example: how long to recoup/not need help at home)
Brief Answer:
It depends on the procedure.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
The amount of rest that you have to take, recovery time will depend on the procedure.
If the kidney stone is removed surgically by giving an Incision,it will take more time for recovery.
If it is removed by Laser/ Lithotripsy it will take less time.
Nothing to worry.
Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions,I will clarify further. Wish you good health and speedy recovery.
Regards
