Brief Answer:
Ultrasound scan required

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand your concerns.

Such breakthrough bleeding once in a while during menopause is not uncommon. However, I suggest you get examined by your doctor and request for an ultrasound scan to identify the source of bleeding.

Endometrial hyperplasia is one of the reasons for such bleeding after one year of menopause. Better to check it out.

Though there is nothing to worry, it is better to get examined.
