Question : I'm 66, 5'2", 190, found a small, black dot on the arch between my upper teeth and tonsil. Alarmed
Brief Answer:
Small blood clot. No cause for concern.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query.
1. The spot on the anterior pillar in front of the tonsil appears to be a small blood clot (hematoma).
2. This may be due to minor trauma from hard foodstuff.
3. Get your Vitamin B12 levels checked. A coagulogram is suggested if more spots appear.
4. There is no cause for concern.
I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any further questions, I will be available to answer them.
Regards.
