What Do Bloating And Gas Pains Indicate While On Promethazine?
Question: Hi, I have bloating and woke with extreme gas pains. I took promethazine 4 fours ago to relieve congestion and need to take someyhing now to reieve stomach pain. Might need simethecone.
I'm nauteous. I think I should take simethicone andmedical marijuana.
What doyou think?
I also have 2swollen ankles and Stage 4 cancer. My problem started when I received radioation on my stomach 5 weeks ago.

Radiation on abdomen can have detrimental effect on intestine.
Severe bloating to the point that woke you up indicates a possible obstruction and hence bloating, pains, nausea.
In such I would advise against taking anything more orally.
It is better to go to ER for clinical evaluation and investigations to see for the cause and get an appropriate management.
X-ray of the abdomen in standing position. Can be helpful to know the cause and place of bloating and site of obstruction if present.
Further investigations will lead to the definite cause and hence gives a proper plan of management.
Taking anything orally may cause more problems and hinder management until well diagnosed. Simethicone may not help in such bloating.
