Question : I have stomach bloating and pain when standing the pain disappeares when sitting or lying down I can only take in small amounts of food and drink

Thanks for your reply this seems to be the only symptoms it has been going on for about a month I haven't taken any tests or seen a doctor about it yet I do consume alcohol but that seems to irritate it to so.I have stopped i have never used tobacco I am within normal weight and no thyroid diabetes or high blood pressure problems

In view of postural variation of pain and alcohol intake, the possibility of a pancreatic, liver or a pelvic abnormality is high. Hence it's advisable to get an ultrasound abdomen at the earliest to determine further course of action.
Meanwhile medications like Pantoprazole and Hyocamine will help to get over the symptoms. Please check with your physician if he shares my view and if can prescribe these medications to you.
Review with reports to determine further course of action.
