What Do Circular Marks In The Buttocks Indicate?
Question: Good Morning Doctor and thank you. Overnight a circle appeared in my right buttock. I believed I have seen this type to be related to worm activity. I can not account how this happen. Thank you Sir

Hi and thanks for the attached image.
I have reviewed it and this is not typical of any known worm manifestation. Also, it is unlikely that this was caused by an insect bite. I think you might have slept on a circular object like a button or similar objects. I'd like to monitor this only for now. If this were over some time and itches, it would have been typical of a fungal infection. This happening overnight and not typical of a bug bite makes me think otherwise and will rather monitor to gather more information..
Please keep me posted on this. Let me know how it evolves: Any new symptoms, change in color or size, etc.
