Brief Answer:
No specific reasons for both problems.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Read and understood your problem of reduced breast milk in spite the baby is just 4 months old and delayed period.
The causes of both the problem are non-specific. The cause for reduced milk production can be psychological, some medical conditions like fever and flu, but in most of the cases the exact cause can not be pin-pointed.
Some galactogouges (those increase) milk production can be tried but it may not surely help.
These are tablets like metoclopropamide or some Ayurvedic preparations.

Since it is just 4 months since birth of your baby, delayed period is normal due to breast feeding hormones. No treatment is needed and should not be taken as you are breastfeeding the baby.

I think regularly feeding the baby by clock, meaning at stipulated time can help maintain proper breast feeding.

I hope this answer helps you, please feel free to ask relevant queries if you need to or if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
