Question : Hi there! I all of the sudden started feeling sick out of nowhere. I had a bout of diarrehea this morning and then started feeling nauseous and threw up. I ate multiple red foods (smoothie, strawberry lemonade erc) so initially i was alarmed it was a bit red. I do have issues with IBS and am still having stomach cramps.

although I couldn't possibly rule out gastrointestinal bleeding based on this information (a picture of the stool might have helped though), I can say that bleeding does not sound very likely. Let's consider the possibilities:
- if you're having lower gastrointestinal tract hemorrhage then the blood should be bright red (fresh blood). Fresh blood is usually easy to recognize, although sometimes it may stay inside the bowels for longer than usual and become less bright. Besides that diarrhea is not very common. Vomiting also would sound irrelevant here...
- if you're having upper gastrointestinal tract hemorrhage vomiting is possible (usually with fresh bright red blood) and diarrhea is common (particularly if the blood loss exceeds 50-60mL). A small quantity of blood causes melena (dark stool, looking like tar and with a different odor). Passage of more blood causes hematochezia (that is stool homogeneously mixed with blood). In such cases the color can be maroon or darker. In significant blood loss the patient may feel faintness and the heart rate should be high (the blood pressure may be normal or low).
So your case sounds like a gastroenteritis with vomiting and diarrhea probably food-borne. I can't be certain of course, so if you're having 'serious' symptoms like faintness, cold sweat, etc then you should visit a doctor at once... If it's a food-borne gastroenteritis with vomiting, then the symptoms usually subside within 1-2 days.

Im not having ant sweating or faintness ag all espeically after I threw up i felt better.
