Get done PFT.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through the attachment you have provided.
Prominent broncho-vascular markings are commonly seen with chronic bronchitis (COPD).
It is sometimes seen without any symptoms. Normally in the chest x-ray, vessels (vascular markings) are not seen.
But they are seen when there is hyperemia (more blood supply). Vessels are along with bronchi (air pipes). So together they are more prominent and known as prominent broncho-vascular markings.
PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) should be done for:
1. Diagnosis of chronic bronchitis
2. Assessment of the severity of the disease.
Hope I have answered your query.
Take care
