Brief Answer:
sleep study and other investigations are required

Detailed Answer:
Hello Lady,

Thanks for writing to us. I can understand your concern.

You have already more sleep than required for an adult. An adult required 6-8 hours of sleep per day.

you are also feeling sleepy in daytime and tired.

Above symptoms should be studied with sleep study which includes EEG and other vitals measurement to rule out any specific sleep disorder.
You also need to go for Thyroid testing, serum vitamin B12 and hemoglobin level as many times disturbance in these can lead to such symptoms.

When above investigations come normal, we may think about stress related disorder.

Hope I have answered your query, I will be happy to help further.
Regards,
Dr.Chintan Solanki.
