Question : Hi Doctor,
Of late I start feeling drowsy as soon as I sit idle. I have high cholesterol and triglycerides level for which I am taking medication. Are these two interrelated. Is this some kind of a condition? Please let me know what can I do to correct this and should I get any tests done?
Thanks

Brief Answer:
Thyroid profile.
Detailed Answer:
Hello, Manyak,
This kind of drowsiness is usually seen in hypothyroidism. Rise in cholesterol and triglycerides do not cause drowsiness. I suggest you to get your thyroid profiles tested.
