Question : I just found out that my creatine levels up in my kidneys. What does this mean?
Brief Answer:
A number of causes
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
But high creatine levels indicate abnormal renal function due to chronic renal damage.
This could be due to chronic renal infection or inflammatory condition as nephritis or pyelonephritis.
Also could be due to autoimmune disease as lupus or due to decreased blood flow to the kidney as in cases of severe dehydration, heart disease and low blood pressure.
Hope I have answered your query.
Take care
