What Do Itchy Rashes Throughout The Body Indicate Despite Being On Zyrtec?

Question: I have a red rash that is on my arms and legs and feet. It is now spreading to my lower back and on my chest. I have been treated with a steroid pack in Dec. It is itching and has some heat to it. I am on zyrtec and local creams help the itching but does not get rid of the rash

I have used benadryl cream and hydrocortisone. I have also been taking zyrtec and benadryl pill. I have also been taking zantac for the itching as well

Hi,

Seems like an eczematous rash.

I suggest you to use a moisturizer regularly over all the affected areas.

In addition to this you may use a moderately potent topical steroid cream.

E.G. Mometasone furoate 0.1 %cream Or triamcinolone acetonide 0.1 %cream Or betamethasone valerate 0.1 %cream, twice daily.

Continue with tab zyrtec for itching.
