Detailed Answer:
Dr. Hanif warmly Welcomes you!

Thanks for consulting at my virtual clinic. I have carefully worked through your case, and can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I will take care all of your medical concerns.

Reasons of light headedness may be:
**Allergies (Any history you have?)
**Cold and Flu Fever (Any recent history you have?)
**Altitude sickness (Travelled somewhere recently?
**Low blood sugar levels (Have you ever been screened for diabetes?)
**Use of tobacco, alcohol or illicit drugs (have you been taking any of these? If yes avoid please).
**Heart problems may also cause dizziness and especially in this age group and if you have risk factors too like family history of diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart disease, heart diseases may lead to such dizziness and lightheadedness. IT may be a failing heart or heart beating out of rhythm.
**Anemias and loss of blood inside body. Do you have history of blood in stools, vomiting, urine etc or did you have recently pain in abdomen.
**Shock and Strokes are also a cause.
**Have you been on any medication, prescription or over the counter? Its because some medications also cause the lightheadedness and may lower blood pressure too. If you are taking any antihistamines, antinausea, antiallergic medications, consult your physician to discontinue

Take care in standing up from lying or sitting posture. Stand up slowly to help improve lightheadedness.
Take plenty of fluids (you already are on, that's good)
Avoid longstanding.

Keep a follow up with your physician to look for blood pressure and also the above mentioned diseases to be screened off.

Have a wonderful time ahead. Hope I answered all of your questions. Let me know if you have any further clinical concerns. I will be happy to get back to you shortly. If satisfied here, please give a five star rating and don't forget to close the discussion.

Brief Answer:
Tobacco may be the main cause.

Detailed Answer:
I welcome and appreciate you for providing me detailed history to help assist you.

Tobacco chewing, smoking a slow killers. They are not like some poisons which cause a sudden collapse of the systems. Body has its own mechanism of fighting against the chemical effects of the tobacco.

This fights goes on and on for years long and if continued, the chemicals show their obvious effects on the body and heart, blood vessels, lungs and other body organs are affected in a lethal way. Try to avoid it gradually and then leave it completely as it may cause serious heart issues to you.

Tobacco makes the normal blood controlling mechanisms of the body fail slowly and leads to problems with the closed cardiovascular system of circulation.

Please consult your physician to take your vital signs (Blood pressure, fever, pulse) in person by himself. He will do a complete physical examination and will diagnose according to the cause diagnosed through some blood work and an EKG.

Have a wonderful time ahead. Hope I answered all of your questions. Let me know if you have any further clinical concerns. I will be happy to get back to you shortly. If satisfied here, please give a five star rating and don't forget to close the discussion.
