Question : Yes please, my wife has a pacemaker and I ve have seen her have problems with low blood pressure now a couple of times, her blood pressure has gone down to 90 by 50 and around that, can that happen even though she has the pacemaker?

I read your question and i understand your concern. Pacemakers correct only postural hypotension also called Orthostatic hypotension. Apart from that one can have still low blood pressure even on pacemakers as there are many causes for that. Also 90 systolic is fine, diastolic needs to be a bit higher even up to 60 would be fine. There is a long list of low blood pressure causes. Commonest is hormonal problem, dehydration, some infection, blood loss, anemia, lack of nutrients in diet, Overuse of heart medications etc.

Nutshell whatever it is, increasing lowered blood pressure is easy, All you need to do is add more salt, take more fluids, wear compression stockings, eat small low carb meals, avoid alcohol and talk to your doctor as they may give you some blood pressure increasing medication but it does not come to that.
