Question : I am trying to decide if I should go to the ER. I haven't had a bowel movement in over two weeks, and today I am passing a lot of mucus. After an enema, I still have had no relief. I am being tested for Crohn's Disease, but I've never been this bad.

Brief Answer:
urgent evaluation is required

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
If you had no bowel movement for 2 weeks and you were eating and drinking as usual, then there is certainly some disorder which may be more or less serious. So I advice to see ER and do tests to rule out colon or small bowel obstruction. You should do CT abdominal scan with oral contrast or irigography. If there is no organic obstruction, you should recieve medications which promote bowel movements. Further delay, may cause colon distension and even perforation. Wish you good health. Regards
