Brief Answer:
Half of the dosage of the new drug

Detailed Answer:
Hello, madame. Thank you for your question and welcome to Health Care Magic. I read your query.

Normal blood pressure, standardized for all people around the world, is 100-139/60-89 mmHg. For many physiological reasons, such as physical activity, psychological changes or hormonal changes that normally happen throughout a day, various blood pressure figures are registered. My opinion is that a combination of metoprolol, lisinopril and hidrochlorthiazid is a safe and effective combination in blood pressure-lowering strategy. These figures are not low, as long as you do not experience weakness, fatigue, dizziness or dark vision. However, if the figures are worrisome to you, I would recommend you to take half of the lisinopril/hctz a day, and to do so in the opposite part of the day from taking metoprolol (i.e. if you take metoprolol in the morning, take half of the lisinopril/hctz in the evening). My opinion is that there is no need to visit the doctor regarding this matter. After you have done the above recommended changes, start measuring your blood pressure six to eight times a day, in various periods of the day, to see if the new combination is working, always aiming the blood pressure to be under 140/90 mmHg and, preferably, not lower than 100/60 mmHg.

I hope I was helpful. I am happy to help, if you have follow-up questions. Please rate the answer, if you do not. Wish you a good health.

Kind regards,
Dr. Meriton
