Brief Answer:
I would explain as follows:

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that the high blood pressure could be a physiological reaction to the pain.

Is your calf swollen? This could indicate a possible deep vein thrombosis is a possible cause of the pain in this region.

Other possible causes to consider would be a musculo- skeletal pain or inflammation.

For this reason,if the pain is persistent, I recommend going to the ER for a careful physical exam and some tests:

- a Doppler ultras of the leg vessels
- complete blood count, PCR, ESR for inflammation
- muscular enzyme levels
- D- Dimmer levels
- blood electrolytes.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr.Iliri
