Question : After several blood test, I have noticed my mono levels are H x 2, my lymphocytes are L x 4, red blood count H x 1, platlet count L x 4. I have COPD, fibromyalgia, neuroendocrine NSC mass on my aorta, above my heart. I have had 36 radiation treatments as well as many treatments of chemo, it has been in remission since XXXXXXX of 2015, the mass remains, just not growing. These results are from this year, my feet and legs have been swelling very badly, dr tChanged water pill, and HBP medication, finally got a bit of relief, then magnesium and potassium levels were at critical levels, so I spent 3 days building levels. I also have paralyzed vocal cords, I am unable to speak clearly....II squeak a lot. The thyroid and vocal cords are extremely inflamed, I am concerned about my thyroid, since I have had suspicious biopsies of the thyroid in the past year. My oncologist has ordered a CT to see what's going on. I am so concerned about the blood test. Some days I feel great others I can barely function. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you, XXXXXXX Stone

Brief Answer:
Hello dear. These are likely the side effects of treatment.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. Welcome to HCM.
Please do not worry. Ist of all please attach the lab reports so that I can make out the things more clear as what parameters are deranged and up to what extent.
Moreover , also state what chemo drugs you received. The thyroid and vocal inflammation is due to the radiation side effects.
As your doc said, it will be good to have a CT scan to know exactly what is the status of disease.
I will also advise you to have a complete blood counts liver and kidney function test. The side effects of drugs and radiation sometimes may take a slightly longer time to resolve, and you will have relief.
Please do write the details.
Feel free to ask further.
Thanks and regards
