I can understand your concern.
You father is having Uncontrolled Diabetes mellitus assosciated with high cholesterol levels.
I generally suggest my patients with oral tablets of Metformin 500 Once daily and Tab.Rosuvastatin F one tablet daily. So please discuss with your doctor whether he shares my view and prescribes the same.
Also provide me his current medication history in your follow up query.

Thanks Dr.My father is on Metformin 250 and Telma 20 ,Atorvas 10 .So please suggest further.Thanks in advance.

Your father may need dose escalation of Metformin from 250 to Metformin 500.Since his triglyceride level is also increased,I asdvise him to go for Rosuvastatin F instead of Atorvas 10.

A 1400 calories diet plan is advisable:
For breakfast: 8 AM
1 cup milk
1 dosa/2 idli/2vada/2 chapati
1 cup vegetable salad
At 10 AM:
1 cup milk + 2 high fiber biscuits
Lunch:12 noon
1 cup dal+1 cup curry+ 1 cup rice + 1 cup curd
Snacks 3 PM:
2 biscuits + 1 cup tea/coffee/milk.
Dinner:7 PM
2 chapati+1 cup curry +curd
At 10 AM:
1 cup fruit salad/vegetable salad.
