Question : Need general evaluation of the report that I uploaded. I took Tab Thyrox 100mcg for 30 days about two months back and discontinued due to my pure laziness. After that I put on weight and look bulging. I want to continue medication for the thyroid. Please advice.

Brief Answer:
Need to start Thyroid medications.

Detailed Answer:
HI Surendhar

Greetings from Dr.Divakara.P
Thanks for posting your query.

I went through your reports and found the following abnormalities.

1. High Cholesterol : Since you are young age , there is no need to put medications for that. I recommend you to do daily walking for 15- 30 minutes . Repeat Lipid Profile test after 1 year.

2. Low testosterone : A very mild reduction is seen and it doesn't require medications. Just do daily exercise.

3. Elevated TSH : Your TSH is extremely elevated , I recommend you to start Tab Thyronorm 75mcg and use it daily without leaving it . Kindly get a prescription for this from your doctor.

4. Low Vitamin D3 levels : For this you need Vitamin D supplements to be taken weekly once for 2 months . Also increase your exposure to bright sunlight.

Hope this information was useful to you.

Any clarifications feel free to ask.

Regards.
