Brief Answer:
Yes he is on right medicines and would need angio

Detailed Answer:
I have looked into report. He has what we call dilated cardiomyopathy. medicines are right though they will be titrated in future. Also as the blockages are most common cause for heart weakness at his age it's advisable he should have angiogram done when stable

Brief Answer:
Yes it can affect

Detailed Answer:
in situation like this yes there risk of sudden deterioration immediately after or during angiogram but with appropriate precuations risk always is less than benefits. As long as treating doctor is confident that it's right thing to do you can go ahead and have it done. Costs very from hospital to hospital and bed type and some places even depending on doctor. On an average it should cost 20-25 thousand

Brief Answer:
There wouldn't be any

Detailed Answer:
There wouldn't be any other way. Though there are few more test but finally angiogram would be gold standard. Risks are mostly patient specific and not generic you need to discuss it with cardiologist who is seeing him. They would be able to tell you. Even timing has to decided by doctor who is seeing him in person
