Question: General advice needed on controlling blood augar for my father.I am attaching reports for the tests done recently.

Thanks for your response.
The reports are suggestive of need of medicines- statins and oral hypoglycemics.
A small dose like atrovastatin 20 mg and metformin 500 mg is what I would have adviced.
Accompany this with diabetic diet, and moderate regular physical exercise.
I am assuming that since you did not respond to the second question of my prior response, that he is on no medications.
Starting a small dose of antiplatelets like aspirin 75 mg is suggested by many physicians.

Thank you. My father has been taking following medicines.
Starcad beta 25 one od morning
cilacar T one od morning
glyciphage sr 1 gm 1bd after meal
unistar 75 one dose at night

Any dietary recommendations would be appreciated.

It would be better to meet your regular diabetician for the same.
