Question: what is the cause of calcific foci in a chest X ray if all other Blood test reports suggest no infection and there is no cough but there is mild swelling in under armpits on right armpit only which is painful. What should we do if his swelling accompanied by low grade fever If low grade fever upto 99 degree in the evening ( morning no temperature) has started for the last 3-4 days does it mean TB has resurfaced but no cough and I should get treatment
In case of previous history of TB ( TB treatment was done around seven years back for full 8-9 months what is the significance of above
Please suggest

Brief Answer:
Get done ultrasound examination of tight axilla.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
I have gone through the reports you have attached.
Well, I don't think you are having pulmonary tuberculosis.
We should rule out right axillary lymphnode tuberculosis in your case.
Lymphnode tuberculosis can be seen after previous tuberculosis history.
So get done ultrasound examination of right axilla.
If it shows enlarged lymphnodes then fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) to confirm TB reactivation.
Please let me know
1. Have you ever undergone ultrasound examination of axilla?

What is the reason of low grade fever 99 degree in the evening for the last 4 days . Is swelling in the right arm pit cause of fever ?
If so then why it is not there in the morning . I am checking fever 4-5 times
In the evening to night it shows 99 degree . I have got echo done and urine test and other tests are normal Hemoglobin is 14

Brief Answer:
Your swelling in right axilla might be due to tuberculosis.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your follow up question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Tuberculosis can reactivate as lymphnode tuberculosis. In this it causes swelling in axilla, pain, low grade evening rise fever etc.
Evening rise fever is mostly due to tb infection in lymphnode.
So get done ultrasound examination of right axilla and if it is showing lymphnode enlargement then get done fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) to confirm the diagnosis.
