Question : Hi Doctors, I have been advised to undergo following tests before by gall bladder removal surgery. RBS, coagulation profile, HCV, HIV. HBsAg, chest x ray. Do I need to get these done on empty stomach?. Thanks in advance for your support.

As usual, it is always a pre-requisite to do the above said tests before any surgery. All the above tests can be taken at any time of the day. I would suggest you giving a morning sample after having your breakfast.
