Question: Ok I had stomach pain and had to go to the ER.
I had a Ct scan no contrast. The scan showed I had kidney stones that caused the stomach pain. The incidentally they found at an unknown mass in the lateral segment of the left lobe of the liver 3.4cm deforming the content of the capsule. My pcp ordered a ultrasound two days later and results were a mass with unknown charersitics that was 4.2 cm. They don't know what it is. The liver lesion is asymptomatic. I am freaking out. What do you think it may be?

Brief Answer:
Hello. It requires evaluation

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Dear. I have gone through the details. Its difficult to decide just on the basis of ultrasound, or ct scan, the exact nature of lesion. It can be a abscess, tumor or hemangioma or hydatid lesion.
A biopsy is the sureshot answer to determine what it is.
Please get the biopsy done and report back.
Thanks and regards
