Brief Answer:
Hello. He requires further evaluation
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear.
I have seen the reports. So by biopsy it is a case of multiple myeloma. He requires further evaluation in the form of blood test (serum protein electrophoresis, beta 2 microglobulin, free light chain assay and pet ct.).
Treatment can be started sooner after tests. Various combination of drugs are available and after a few weeks of treatment , transplant can be done. He will enjoy a good amount of life.
Thanks and regards

Sir...would it be possible to have transplantation in his age? would it be stem cell transplantation? where it can be done? my baby stem cell has been preserved in life cell under community banking scheme which covers XXXXXXX parents also....or would it be developed from his own blood? what would be the approximate expenditure? what medication should be started immediately? he is non diabetic..non alcoholic..non htn...all other profiles are quite normal....report of the other tests can be uploaded if desired?
Brief Answer:
Hello. Transplant depends upon physiological age
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. Iam sorry, but i read the age as 42 years from medical history and thus advised you for transplant. Transplant is suitable below age of 65 years . However, it can also be done in elderly msles if they are fit and fine and have good health reserve. At 75 years, transplant can be decided only by a treating doctor. Transplant is done by patients own cells. Estimated cost around 15 lacs. Initual treatment is a few cycles of bortezomib based therapy.
Thanks and regards
