Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,

A creatinine of 1.76 and BUN of 22 are not critical, but when we see these rise, then it is something to look into.

BUN elevation can happen from not being as hydrated as the previous test.
Regarding the creatinine level, it is slightly elevated but not extremely high. Best to look at the creatinine clearance which gives an estimate of the kidney filtration rate. It can be calculated by the following formula: 140 minus age in years times weight in kilograms, divided by 72 times the serum creatinine level in mg/dL. Creatinine clearance can also be more directly measured by collecting a 24-hour urine sample and then drawing a blood sample. The creatinine levels in both urine and blood are then compared. Normal creatinine clearance for men is 97 to 137 mL/min. (normal levels may vary slightly between labs).

I see that you wrote under "medications tried": chronic kidney disease. Have you been evaluated and diagnosed with a particular type of kidney disease?

I have been diagnosed but non specific. I took INSAIDS for gout for many years so that's my issue.

Detailed Answer:
Ok. Well, while your lab values are not frighteningly high, it would be good to follow up with the testing and calculation I described above, and continue to repeat and watch the lab values.
